No Mandarin ducks really mate for life?
The principles of Feng Shui believes that Chinese Mandarin ducks do not have a partner, the year after year and if they lose each other die of loneliness. Can anyone tell me if this is true of the species?
Yes, it is true that Mandarin ducks have only one spouse or partner. It is not uncommon in nature, and the proper term is their "monogamous" farming and partners.
