Topic for my project. Please help?
I have to choose a theme for one of my projects. The theme is a journey one of the major religions. I have to talk in detail about this pilgrimage a few pages. Since I love China and Chinese culture, I thought if anyone could help me telling me that the pilgrimage is known in China. I searched Google and found a wide range of subjects to choose from, like the pilgrimage to Mount Tai Shan. Can you please help me and give me also game? Thanks.
In the most famous pilgrimages are made by the Tibetans. In most cases, it is a pilgrimage to a lake sacred or holy mountain, or saints major temples in Lhasa. Kora Pilgrimage may take several months to do the same for both measures are tilted, as shown this image. http://www.flickr.com/photos/tomcarter/181307838/ Kora is both a pilgrimage and a type of meditation in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Kora can also bypass a walk around a temple, stupa or other sacred place. Some important traditional kora in the Tibetan tradition include ring Namtso Lake and Mount Kailash, the two sacred places Tibet. Kora also takes about Swayambhunath and Bodhnath, two important stupas in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. Kora can be done with prayer wheels many laps chanting of mantras, bad score, or fell down several times. In this way an exercise in quiet meditation spirit kora functions. According to Buddhist tradition and belief, the kora is always in the direction of clockwise, and runs 108 times.
